Which skip size should I choose?
Our 2 yard Mini Skip holds approximately 25-30 bin bags, our 4 yard Midi Skip holds around 40-45 bin bags, and our 6 yard Small Builders Skip holds approximately 65-70 bin bags. Call our team if you are unsure which size is right for your project.
Do I need a permit?
Online skip bookings are for placement on suitable private land, such as a driveway. If you do not have suitable private land, our Roadside Load & Go service may be a better option because the truck remains on site while you load.
How much does skip hire cost in Wolverhampton?

What if I need to cancel my booking?
You can cancel free of charge until 4pm on the working day before delivery, with a full refund to your original payment method. Later cancellations may incur a handling fee because the vehicle will already have been scheduled.
Can I put a fridge or mattress in the skip?
Fridges, electrical appliances, mattresses and upholstered seating cannot be mixed with standard skip waste. Some items may be available as chargeable extras when booking. Call us if you are unsure before loading them.
Can I keep my skip for longer than seven days?
Longer hire may be available depending on collection schedules. Please contact our team before booking to discuss your requirements.
Do you offer same-day delivery?
Same-day delivery may be available if you book before 12pm, subject to availability. Call 01902 722876 to check the available slots. Next-day delivery is normally available for most bookings.
What if the skip fills up before my job is finished?
Call the office and we can arrange to swap the full skip for an empty one, usually within one to two working days. You will only pay for the additional skip.
What happens on collection day?
Our driver will arrive during the agreed slot, lift the skip onto the truck and take it away. Please make sure the skip is accessible and that waste is not filled above the sides, as an overloaded skip cannot legally be lifted.
Are you a licensed waste carrier?
Yes. Wolverhampton Skips is an Environment Agency Upper Tier Waste Carrier under licence DB0UM6130. Waste transfer notes are available on request.
